RESIMUN is run by a student secretariat at Groupe Scolaire La Résidence in Casablanca. This page explains what this website collects, why, and how to have it removed.

1. 01Who is responsible

   The RESIMUN secretariat, Groupe Scolaire La Résidence, Casablanca, Morocco, decides what this site collects and why. Questions about anything on this page go to the address at the bottom.

2. 02What the enquiry form collects

   The form on the contact and sponsorship pages asks for your first name, last name, school or organisation, email address, the subject of your enquiry, and an optional message.

   That information is sent straight to the secretariat's inbox by our email provider. It is not written to a database and it is not used to build a profile of you. It stays in the inbox until the enquiry is closed, and no longer than the current conference cycle.

3. 03What is collected automatically

   When you submit the form, your IP address is held in the server's memory for ten minutes so the same address cannot flood the inbox. It is not written to disk and it is not linked to your message.

   Our hosting provider keeps ordinary web server logs (IP address, page requested, time, browser) for a short period as part of running and securing the site.

4. 04Cookies

   This site sets no advertising cookies and no tracking cookies.

   A single technical cookie exists for the secretariat: signing in to the content editor sets a session cookie so staff can preview unpublished pages. It is never set for ordinary visitors.

   If analytics are switched on in future and the provider uses cookies, you will be asked before anything is set, and declining will be as easy as accepting.

5. 05Who else sees your data

   Only the services this site needs to work: our email provider, which delivers form submissions to the secretariat, and our hosting provider, which runs the site. Neither is permitted to use your details for anything else. Nothing is sold, rented, or shared with advertisers.

6. 06Photographs

   Photographs taken during the conference may appear on this site and on our Instagram account. If you or your child appear in a photograph you would rather we did not use, email us and we will take it down.

7. 07Your rights

   You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email the secretariat and we will act on it within thirty days.

   If you are in Morocco you may also raise a complaint with the CNDP. If you are in the European Union, the GDPR gives you the same rights, and our basis for processing your enquiry is your consent, given by ticking the box on the form.

8. 08Minors

   Most delegates are school students. Registration is made by a school or a parent, not by a student acting alone, and the form is meant to be filled in by the teacher or guardian organising the delegation.

9. 09Changes

   If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage.
